Description
Oddities with the Armed Forces. Service Members often move multiple times throughout their career. We will review general tax nuances that affect Service Members Tax Returns. From understanding how these changes evolved over time to what is current now. We will review what happens when Service Members move with their family to a new state. Learn what to keep track of and watch out for in the new state. We will discuss the nuances of home sales and options available to Service Members who qualify. Lastly, we will review additional extension options available for Service Members to file their returns.

About the Speaker
Jennifer Stepp is a native Californian, and has been providing business and taxation services since 2003. She is an Enrolled Agent and is licensed to practice before the IRS and state tax agencies. Jennifer is a member of California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA). Jennifer specializes in small business and personal tax advisory services. Her office is located in San Marcos, CA. Professionally, she enjoys building relationships and personal connection with clients by listening to the needs of clients and educating them to further their goals. Personally, Jennifer volunteers in the community with local shelters, community gardens, Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts. She enjoys camping, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
