About the Speaker
Selina Steele is a taxation, business and estate planning attorney as well as an Enrolled Agent. She has been preparing taxes since the early 1980's. As an attorney and solo practitioner, she is keenly aware of the challenges facing small businesses and individuals when taxes are not part of the conversation. The tax implications of improper or late planning can have a detrimental impact. This is certainly true of non-profits who run afoul of reporting and filing requirements thereby finding themselves going from exempt to taxable overnight. When good works and intentions turn into tax nightmares.
